This dog park is huge. There are all kinds of trails through the center if you don't want to do the outer loop. There are openings in the back fence at the river where your dog can go play in the water. This is a nice feature but I have seen dogs escape the park this way so keep an eye out. In my experience so far, I have not encountered any aggressive or naughty dogs. My dogs love this place. And it's nice that owners can get some exercise too ????

I have been coming here since I have lived in Denver. If you plan on going more than five times a year just buy a season pass. The set up is super easy. Have a season pass and dog pass, drive up and drive through. Summer time and weekends are the busiest needless to say. If you pull up and you are at the extended wait period sign you are going to be sitting for 30 minutes +/- 10 minutes. Always carry your leashes with you. They do have doggy bags and waste bins throughout the walk path. The water area and stream have been redone and very easy to walk in and through. Total walk is about 2.2 miles if you do the large outside loop, fence walk is just over three miles. Enjoy and take care of this wonderful place!

My dogs loves to play here! It’s so spacious and he just loves to run! Great exercise for people too! It’s great in the summer time with the creek so the dogs can play and cool off and splash around!
During the summer it does get crowded so get there early and give yourself plenty of time to romp around!

This is a great place to take your dog and let them play. It is huge which was a little stressful for me because my dog would go too far. I ended up putting her on the leash a few times for my own peace of mind. There were at least two dogs who got aggressive with my pup. Their owners were close by and we had to intervene. One claimed it was her dogs "herding" nature and not aggression but the dog was attached to my dogs harness and trying to drag my pup around. HOWEVER, I am rating the place and not those owners and their dogs. Great open spaces, yes to the creek (bring towels to dry them off before getting in the car). Friendly staff etc. I bought the year pass because I plan on going back often.

So far so good... A tad on the dusty side in a good chunk of the park, on the South side entrance, which also happens to be the most packed with cars and all that. The north side entrance is really nice and it's a lot of grassy area and some trees. I feels very well maintained and even though for one day it cost me $13 total to get in, $10 to get into the park part and $3 for the dog part it's definitely well worth the year pass. I have such a large area that if you know your dog and other people control their dogs and you control yours as well everything's great. 10 times better than Kennedy dog park for my dog was attacked three times in one week
