  This is a classic small park with all the things you need in it. We like to walk around it during the day as breaks. CoSolve co-working is one block away!

  A lovely little City park in the middle of Historic Westside neighbourhood of Longmont. The area is equal to approximately one city block, squared. A sand laden childrens' playground, picnic tables, and sitting benches, restrooms (now closed for winter season) and lots of big trees and grass. The park is maintained and operated by the City of Longmont. I give Thompson Park five stars simply for its' being allowed to remain. So many Cities' knock the old down and Longmont preserves it's history.

  This is a great place to take the kids. Longmont’s older parks have matured trees and this is one of them with lots of shade. Plenty of space for the kids to run and play. If your planing a summer family picnicking this would be the park.

  One of the best.
  Shaded throughout by lovely mature trees, a pretty nice playground with two jungle gyms, one suitable for toddlers and the other for bigger kids + a few swings. Two covered shelters with grills, a bathroom open seasonally, a gazebo and a small flower garden that specializes in white blooms.
  Like I said, good stuff.

Longmont Mom: Arbor Day Celebration

The public is invited to climb a tree, take a bucket truck ride, and enjoy some live entertainment. A $1 lunch will be available along with balloons, wood carving, Smokey the Bear and a tree/rosebush sale. In case of poor weather, the festivities will move to April 26.
