Willow Farm Park, South Fordham Street, Longmont, CO

I love this little park! I go there just for walks with my dog. It is a great option for me when I am running errands in the Target area and want to take my dog for a quick walk. They do have restrooms, but I don't know if they are open year round. They have a picnic area too and a rentable space in the barn. There are usually at least a few people playing on the playground, but it is rarely super busy. This place is just very pretty and a great place for a picnic or a quick walk. There are also owls in the area, and you can sometimes spot them. You can also see people skydiving off in the distance. It is just a nice area and pretty peaceful.

Willow Farm Park is a great location to bring your family, go for a stroll, enjoy the peace and quiet with mountain views or meet friends for basketball or roller hockey. There is plenty of playground equipment and swings to suit all ages. There is a large field to play additional sports as well as a network of paved walkways for biking or walking. The barn on the site has restrooms that are open from April to October and multiple picnic tables to lounge at or host a picnic. Great location with a decent amount of parking.

Used the barn for our baby shower and it was great! Good amount of space and pretty well kept! Only complaint I had was that the bathrooms on site aren’t the cleanest, but I know it’s hard to keep clean being a public use restroom. And we had to bring our own soap to use as well. Overall the park and barn were a great option for our needs!

This park in Longmont is a nice and family-friendly, with a large playground area for kids, a very large grass pitch for soccer or football, a basketball court, a roller/street hockey rink, and a barn-themed picnic area with some benches. I was here on a day when the barn's doors were open, which revealed about 4-5 more benches inside, for a more private area for birthday parties, etc. The east side of the barn has restrooms, too. The parking lot is not too large though, maybe with 15-20 spaces for vehicles? Still, a very nice park nevertheless; a hidden gem.

This park is kind of a hidden gem but once you drive in and see the barn, the atmosphere is off to a great start. Theres plenty of parking, and even several spots in the shade! Super grateful for the amount of shade this park provides in the common areas which has multiple picnic tables and benches. You can also find seating along the foot path. Many directions to walk, and also fun sculptures to enjoy along the way. This park has a great play area, and includes an outdoor hockey rink. There is a pleasant creek that runs along the side of this park, but rest assured the water is shallow and the current is calm enough for a dog to walk up stream with ease. There is a fun watch tower kids can climb that overlooks the creek and inspire loads of imagination. This park has a nice amount of trees, and a great big one easy enough for almost anyone to climb and enjoy. Even sitting in the middle of the trunk can be a nice experience. Plus the people that visit, in my experience, have been very pleasant regardless of practicing social distancing. Clearly in a nice neighborhood.
