“We went to Forsythe Canyon for mother's day. This was such an incredible hike! The trailhead has parking (with some reserved for horse trailers), a map, and vault toilets.The trail is well maintained without distracting too much from the beautiful surroundings. The wild flowers were various and abundant at the time and the creek was enchanting. Also, the hike is interesting and fairly easy for kids! We saw wildlife that really kept the kids excited.”

“Beautiful trail that’s very well maintained. It was not very busy for a Sunday around noon so it made for a nice quiet hike. The start of the trail is primarily flat gravel along a creek. Eventually you pass a water pump station that starts the incline of the trail. The difficult was easy to moderate depending on your walking ability. Can’t beat the views from the highest point!”

“Popular for mountain biking, trail running, and hiking. The picture rock trail was built in 2008 and connects to the turkey and ponderosa loops, and eventually to left hand canyon. There is a stone picnic table at mile 2, and old silo and cars at mile 3. Easy at the beginning but no shade. Rockier above the silo but nice and shaded.”
