“I was a part of the Meditation Challenge that started last January and I am so thankful that I was! The challenge is to commit to only 5 minutes a day of meditation. It didn't feel too big and I had been wanting to integrate meditation into my life. And so it began. Denver Meditation Center provides great 5 minute prerecorded guided meditations to get you started. I completed the challenge and kept going. Five minutes grew to 10, then 15, then 20. Some days it's still only 5 minutes. But I have come to value those times that I have committed to meeting with myself and my maker. The Meditation Challenge was the beginning of a practice that I sustained for the entire year. Now that we're at the beginning of a new year, I am committed to continuing this wonderful life changing practice that I can do anytime, anywhere to find a grounded and peaceful place within.
