“Coming from Seattle, WA, I was visiting Evergreen, CO., enjoying the beautiful mountain views and scenic areas when I noticed some quaint little shopping spots. I poked around a minute and ended up stepping into Alpine Blue Home. As a lover of art and furniture, the store is impressive. First, you feel a sense of calm and serenity the moment you step in. It is really clean on the inside and the atmosphere is really relaxing as well. I was met by the owners, Amy and Doug Golenz, who are very charming people. The furnishings are BEAUTIFUL! Every piece in there is custom designed by them. On some level, Alpine Blue Home seems like custom art that meets home furnishings. Yes, I took several pieces to show back at home. If you want unique items that are conversation pieces, and something that NOT everybody has, this is the place to shop.
