Everything and everyone from the dentists to the hygienists to the manager to billing, everything is amazing. You’d be crazy to not come here if you have the option. Dr. Suslik is incredible. Truly passionate about what he does and it shows. Keeps you in the loop of what he is doing the whole time. Everyone is genuinely friendly. The hygienists are gentle but effective and they don’t talk your ear off while they’re in your mouth (a pet peeve of mine). I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes after I arrived for an appointment. Lots of high tech (or what feels high tech to me) equipment. But maybe most importantly, they treat you and care for you like a real human not just another number. My 83-year-old mom is significantly disabled from a stroke. At The Oberon, I rest easy knowing that despite her challenges advocating for herself, I can count on the staff at all levels to address her needs and concerns immediately. It is rare to see the compassion and kindness I witness there. Front-desk staff, CNAs, QMAPs, dining room staff, the resident services director, the executive director, the facilities crew, housekeeping, and the on-site hair stylist all treat residents in a manner that says, “I see you, and I care about you.” Yesterday I attended an outdoor concert/picnic for residents. Staff stayed overtime or left to pick up their grandchildren only to return to participate in what felt akin to a family reunion. At The Oberon House there is no passing the buck or obfuscation. “The coolest and largest antique shop I’ve ever been to! It was so well kept and all the employees were so kind! They had a surprisingly good selection of dealers offering rocks and minerals, which was great as I am interested in geology. The building itself has quite a lot of history which I found very interesting. First it was a grocery store(I forgot which one exactly but if someone knows that’s cool!) then a trampoline place and finally the Old Crow people know and love! The root beer bar was FABULOUS!!! The selection was incredible!! The kind lady at the counter gave me a recipe for glazed ham from the pioneer woman! Overall it’s a wonderful spot to go and take a visit! Highly recommend!!!”
