Beautiful, well maintained city park. Lots of things to do. The large dog park is very popular. There is also a skateboard park, a Large playground for children, a baseball field, tennis courts , and a walking path around a large Pond. During the summer months, the food trucks all gather on Thursdays. Lots of people come to to enjoy this. They bring their kids dogs and lawn chairs.
Lots of room to run and if you want to bring your dog for a walk after there a great loop around the pond.
Extraordinary workers to make this dog park, the BEST IN FORT COLLINS, AND COUNTY!! I caught pics of the worker ELVES who always keep it so nice!!
The county keeps the mulch nice, and poop bags stocked, as well as trash cans picked up. Extraordinary, and caring Fort Collins!!
Really extraordinary the thought into this and the good helpful citizens who bring jugs of water.
Large enough but easy to keep eye on your dog. Mulched, lighted, water available warmer months. Area for small dogs too. Majority of visitors are very responsible dog owners. :-)
My favorite dog park. People are friendly and the small dog area is actually useable, not just a tiny square. One of my dogs goes to the small area and one goes with the big dogs. It's nice. The picture is on a pug play date, my pug is in the small area, my Chihuahua is in the big dog area by himself, so he wouldn't be overwhelmed. Normally the Chihuahua is in the small area by himself.
