I visited Sweetheart Winery for the first time since change in ownership and thought it was fantastic. Have visited at least 2-3 a year since it first opened so I am able to compare the updates the new owners have made. If you've never been, the scenery is incredible and you must visit! I liked that they have added more seating, there are many different areas to choose from based on your preferences (by the river, shaded areas, in the center where you are in the middle of the action with the live music, etc.) and thought the new landscaping was beautiful. As far as bar service only, I probably prefer table service a bit more but not a huge deal and we didn't have to wait long to place our order at the bar. Was excited to see some new wines and food items on the menu. We got the supreme pizza and it was really good! Food does take a while due to their small kitchen so be patient. The owner was SO friendly and welcoming to us - gave us some unique recommendations and chatted with us a couple times. Prices have gone up a bit but haven't they everywhere?! It's unavoidable but still well worth it for a relaxing evening. Overall I am pleased with the changes they have implemented and will continue to visit. Always have a great time here!

Beautiful spot! Enjoyed our warm day by the river sipping strawberry lime Frose! Great place. Will be back to try more food, wine and drink options. (The only negative is not a lot of chairs by the river on a busy day out of the sun and $13 for an 8oz of frozen mixed wine drink!) Overall great experience and look forward to relaxing longer!

We were in Estes Park celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and decided to venture down to Sweet Heart Winery for the afternoon. Wow what a truly beautiful property! We made reservations for inside because the weather was going to be a little iffy, but luckily after our first flight the blue sky and sun came out and we headed down by the water. Everything was just perfect. The staff was friendly and very caring, the views and property were unbelievable, the wine was delicious. We will certainly return on future trips.
