“The owners make you feel as if they've been waiting for "you" to arrive. Your greeted with such a heart felt spirit of hospitality that you know you picked the right place. We had two experiences with airB&B during our trip that were aweful. So when we arrived exhausted and ready to find a hotel, Eric and his wife, opened their door to welcomed us like old friends and our cares drifted away. The home is left to their guests at night, but the owners up early ready to cook around their guests needs. The food was outstanding. We have stayed at a lot of B & B's over the years, with advertise gourmet food, their's surpassed them all. You'll be ready for a 10 mile hike before needing to stop and eat. Your provided with all the needs a guest could ask for. They will sit and help you plan out your days according to your individual needs. There is a true sense they want you to enjoy the place they call home. Last of all, Eric has a keen sense to help strangers sit at a table and "gather" together. His wife is full of such grace you can't help but enjoyed every minute of their company. We can honestly say we arrived strangers, but left as friends. It was a memorable time, one we will not forget.”

“This place is great! I stopped in after breakfast at Notchtop and they were very welcoming. Great selection of durable chews, bully sticky and elk antlers for your dog to keep himself busy! My dog can chew through a bully stick pretty quick and the one I bought by Estes Paw has lasted a long time!! They also have a self service bath that would come in handy if you're traveling on the road for awhile”

They have a little bit of everything, but it certainly isn't Walmart so don't expect everything. You need fishing, camping, tools, fertilizer, and a few general things then they will more than likely have something close to what you are looking for.”

“It's a beautiful, historic hotel. Disappointed that the tours were sold out all weekend. We arrived Friday evening to stay 2 nights and the tours were sold out through Monday. I think if you pay to stay, the tour should be included. Warning, the walls are thin and the rooms are drafty (it's an old place). The tub is deep with jets, which is real nice. The illusionist show was entertaining and historically informative. Would be a 5 if we has been able to take the tour.”

“Delicious homemade style food. The restaurant is always so clean, including the restroom, and the wait staff are very attentive. In the peak season there is usually a wait for a table but it is definitely worth it! Their coffee is always fresh, and their green chili is one of the best in town. Highly recommend.”

“Stopped in after some sightseeing based on reviews. Cute, quaint spot in Estes. We opted for the lunch menu. I got the turkey club, perfectly toasted bread, and good flavors all around. The pumpkin spice latte was delicious, we had to get one to go. My husband opted for the elk burger, tasted great, nice game-y flavor and cooked to the correct requested temperature. Fries were also good. Someone in our party got the lamb gyro, wasn’t his favorite, he didn’t end up finishing it. The plates themselves came out hot. Service was great.”
