“Adorable cabin! Easy access right off the highway and the cabins are super cute, very clean and well supplied! Had a couple bottles of water for us and chocolates on the bed which our 3 year old loved! First place I’ve ever stayed that supplied a floor fan in the bathroom, this place gets me :)!! Nothing worse than melting under a hair dryer after refreshing shower so I usually pack my own floor fan LOL. Loved the area and the food truck in the parking lot with prime rib sandwiches was DELICIOUS!! Owners were super responsive to text messages and great communication! Would definitely recommend this place!”

“I was driving back to the city from my place in Bailey when my wheel bearing began to fall apart. Roger was teaching his kids how to ride bikes in his garage when I pulled up that evening. Melted metal still isnt open for business yet as their grand opening is next week. He was a very kind man told me to pull in to check it out. Free of charge Roger diagnosed my problem and told me to come back tomorrow and he could have me taken care of by noon.all in all, I haven't found this type of hospitality at any mechanic. His wife Jessica was also a very kind and helpful person and treated me to good conversatio while I waited for Roger to fix me up. He also looked at a couple other things on my vehicle that I asked him to and gave me a good idea of what I will need eventually. Honesty, integrity, and kind hearted. “This is a fantastic place to hike and camp close to Denver. There are 2 pay campsites on either sides of US 285 and there is free dispersed camping along 126 and 126.A. If you are dispersed camping there is no potable water, no trash and no tables. I have camped for free many times in this area and love to head up here for a quick overnight in the mountains here and there. The road to the sites is pretty well maintained and can usually be passed by passenger car”

“Absolutely LOVE this camping spot. This was our second time here. This is BLM land no water, no electric, no dump, no trash. PACK OUT WHAT YOU PACK IN. There are so many spots to choose from with different views either trees or mountains. Nothing is level of course and the 2 mile drive in (we didn't go to far in) is pretty rough. We have a 25ft class c rv. I think just about any size would fit there are so many options.”
