Amazing staff work this place. It is very clean and well kept, lots of little fun things to do around the campground and the area. The woman who helped us find trails was very knowledgeable about where to go. (Hit the trails early though, those parking lots fill up fast.) The cabins were better than the last several KOA I stayed at. The cabins have more details added and are better sealed so bugs aren't bunking with you. Very nice bathrooms and showers, with super cute decorations. And the grills out for use are a godsend during a burn ban. The camp kitchen is also a really nice feature that is crazy convenient. This is definitely the nicest KOA I've stayed at, even without a pool.
Located on an open hill side. Great views and camp host. Electric is steady and water is fine. Did not use facilities, but they rent out great gas fire places. Sites are semi level but be prepared to raise the west side of your RV 6 TO 10 INCHES. Great dog park and trails.
What a magical place to be. Majestic views, afternoon rain meant for a nap and the staff could not have been more courteous. It felt like staying with family. The owners worked from sun up to sun down. Masks worn, every site cleaned after a departure. You rarely saw them without a bottle of disinfectant in their hands! Every precaution was taken to make us feel safe and comfortable. We had a patio site which allowed us plenty of room to sit at the wrought iron table to eat and a wonderful seating area to enjoy a fire in the evening. Fell in love with this KOA, the owners and their new puppy Astro. Plenty of hiking and sightseeing around the area. Very pet friendly. I am definitely coming back next year.
My husband and his family have been staying here every year for a long time but it was mine and my kids first time camping. I really enjoyed our stay in the nice clean cabin. I felt safe because they were constantly cleaning and sanitizing everything. When a family would leave, they were quick to sanitize the picnic tables and everything that had been touched. Thank you for making it safe for everyone :) The owners and staff were very friendly. I can't wait for our stay again next year and the year after that!
What a beautiful place to catch some fresh air!!! We tent camped in site T11. This has a gate leading to nature trails. We saw a deer, squirrels & various birds. The bathrooms & shower stalks are very clean & laundry facility on site is a plus. Showers have great water pressure & hot water. I was happy to see a stall for handicapped. The staff was friendly & helpful. There is a gun range close by, but it's not a problem for us. This was close enough to Colorado Springs Garden of The Gods, Cave of the Winds & Pikes Peak that we did 2 on one day after a short drive. We had 3 in our group. We would ask recommend this as a family friendly get away. Can't wait to see y'all next year!!!
