“I have to say I cannot be more pleased with the care my husband is getting at MorningStar Bear Creek. Shortly after moving to Colorado to be closer to our children, my husband's Lewy Body dementia deteriorated to the point where he needed full-time care. At MorningStar Bear Creek he is getting excellent care from all the medical support staff - nurses, caregivers, aides, etc. - and also from the concierge and other non-medical staff. It's so good to see the Director often helping and communicating with the residents. The food is delicious, and the chef and food staff are aware of the individual needs and likes of residents. My husband needs some extra portions, and they are right on top of it. There are many special activities, and the staff encourage residents to participate in their favorites - singing, dancing, painting, games, movies, etc. All the staff members seem to know the names of the residents and their family members. The family members can sit or stroll the paths and gardens around the perimeter of the building with their loved ones, and can also visit in the two patios in the interior. Additionally, they keep me apprised of any changes or any needs that arise. Moving my husband into a full-time care facility was a difficult and emotional decision. The atmosphere and people at MorningStar Bear Creek helped make the process gentler and ease a lot of the stress - Diane A.”
