As an historian and writer, and preservation advocate, I hope the new admin will consider displaying the historical Sanitarium artifacts in a higher traffic area, such as the lobby area, so patients and visitors can appreciate the history of the location and understand that the hospital values this history over a near hidden basement cabinet. If this isn't possible, than donating them to the Boulder Historical Museum in the name of the hospital, would preserve these artifacts for generations to come. The photos and artifacts are treasures, and I'd hate for the hospital transition team to overlook the historical, and public interest value, of these items.
