“I've made a point of buying my gas here for years. I try to patronize mom and pop type places whenever I can. This place has been in the same family since forever. The building used to be not much more than a little clapboard shack. This convenience store has convenience store prices, but they're not outrageous. You can find cheaper gas around, but feel better about some of my gas money going to these people. It's a good stop for work crews and laborers seeking lunch or electrolyte replacement. Oh, and the air pump is free. You might need to bring your own pressure gauge, if I recall correctly.”

“I’m a VERY new novice knitter and had a few dropped stitches on my scarf which I didn’t know how to fix without making it worse. After some moments of panic I went to Piney Creek Yarn hoping for a miracle and the owner Amanda saved the day. She easily fixed my project and explained a couple of different fixes and was so kind and patient and encouraging. Another customer was chatting with her as well and it was such a friendly, genuine welcoming atmosphere! The store is very warm and inviting and cute too—Definitely highly recommend!”
