I have been a client for about 7 years. Now, at the age of 71, I am in better shape than I was thirty years ago. You can go to any of thousands of gyms and health clubs where you will be "trained" by someone with a superficial knowledge of the principles of exercise. Pure Conditioning is very different. Dan Pachter is highly trained in exercise science. He knows the ins and outs of exercise physiology and fine tunes each client's program to his or her particular needs, capacities and goals. The latest research shows that for people of my age, building and maintaining muscle mass is at least as important for increasing lifespan and decreasing morbidity than is cardio exercise. An intensive program of resistance training, individually designed, is the best way of achieving that goal. And I can't imagine a better trainer than Dan.

Dan is an amazing trainer and an absolutely terrific guy. Everything he does is for the benefit of his clientele; he individualizes each workout and explains the benefit of every exercise. Can't recommend him enough. Treat yourself - you won't be sorry.
