(November 29, 2018, 11:54 am)Delaware state parks are superb! Lums Pond has been an attraction for outdoor enthusiasts for decades. These days it supports many activities from boat and fishing to camping, even radio controlled model aircraft.

(November 28, 2018, 8:03 pm)Lums Pond is a fantastic place for hiking, biking, kayaking and camping. The fishing can be fun too, however the pond seems to be over fished, and as such it can be very hit or miss. Overall, I've almost always had pleasant experiences at Lums, and would definitely recommend going.

(November 11, 2018, 3:22 pm)Beautiful campground nestled along a pond with full RV hookups and a bath house with really hot water. I heard a number of campers were displeased by the unfriendly behavior of the ranger, but luckily I did not have any contact with him over the holiday weekend during my stay. There are spots for equestrian camping as well, which is quite an added Plus for those who are looking for that kind of experience.

(August 24, 2018, 2:53 pm)Dog park review: love bringing my 2 Huskys here for a cool summer play. It's not gated and they semi listen. But you do have to walk down a bit if a trail to get here. Lots of land and water to run around on, and they absolutely love it! *** we tried to come in the early days of warmth, and were surprised by how many snakes were in the water. Thankfully, they swam away from the dogs and the dogs didn't see them or they would have been trying to play. As soon as we saw that we packed up right away, don't wanna take that risk. Never even saw a snake here any other time. Not sure if it was just the wrong time in the year to come??? *** But still, a great place to come. Have picnic tables and trees for shade. Bring bags to pick up after your babies.
