“I can't thank Lorie and Damien enough for helping my husband get into Rehab at Ingleside after his hip replacement surgery. It was such a blessing for us. We were efficiently guided through the entry process and warmly received by staff on Saturday. Kenneth was especially helpful and kind in getting us settled and providing lead nursing care during his stay. We had a rough few days at first with night chills, sweats, reaction to medicine. etc. but things slowly Improved. He began feeling optimistic about his recovery and worked hard. He had lost his confidence, since both of his knees need to be replaced and he felt unsteady. I was elated when I saw him walking for the first time without a walker. The therapists, nurses, aids, social worker, dietitian, and staff were all helpful. Suggestion: They could use more nurses and aides especially at night to reduce response time especially for new patients who are in the early stage of recovery. The food was surprisingly both healthy and very tasteful. There is no way that I was in any condition to care for my husband at home nor could he or I feel that he would be safe there. We are so glad that Ingleside was our first choice for rehab. We had a chance to get some air and sit in the lovely court yard. We also met a few of the residents who were friendly and welcoming. Based on our experience, we are considering the possibility of joining the Ingleside community in the future.”

“Thrilled with the outcome of my shoulder surgery. Dr. K doesn't use surgery as a first resort, but in my case it was needed, and it went great. Fair warning: he talks fast, but he's compassionate and thorough, so don't hesitate to ask him to repeat or slow down. He also performed a procedure on my son a few years ago, so I'm used to his style. He's very accessible via email or through his assistant.”

“Doctor Perlman takes time to really consult with you prior to surgery to discuss your goals and expectations. I do not believe he does anything frivolous or recommends things that a patient doesn't truly need. He was also easily reachable post-surgery and easy to communicate with. I have not had any problems getting post op visits and he is great at monitoring progress and results. I highly recommend this practice. Gayle and Carol in the office are wonderful as well!”

“The church is breathtaking inside. Giving those that appreciate fine Byzantine mosaics a beautiful exhibit of Greek Orthodox icon mosaics in the DC area. If you come for the liturgy you will hear amazing chanting and learn a great deal about the faith. Tours are done during the festival season and for those interested in renting space for events they also have a hall. The church also has education programs including Bible study and Greek Language on site and online.”
