Ocean Sky Hotel & Resort

Great place for a weekend getaway. Walk off the sandy beach right onto a large pool area. We enjoyed a cabana one day and a big beach umbrella the other days for shade. Our room was very nice and a bargain compared to the other hotels along the same strip.

Hands down the BEST HOTEL I've been to in south Florida. The location is perfect. Just steps away from the beach, salt water pool, a cute mini golf course and jet ski rentals. The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful and I highly, highly recommend this awesome hotel. I will most t definitely be coming back with my family. We had an incredible time. Resort isn’t a 4 star resort but met my expectations for price and location. I had food delivered the resort most times.

Walls are paper thin so you can hear everything your neighbors are doing/saying.

Pool and hot tub were nice

Having the beach close was amazing. Seaweed everywhere though.

Paying to park wasn’t ideal but I knew based on the site I booked.

It’s a toss up on whether I would stay here again.

I really don't understand the bad reviews. I just left here today, I checked in on Thursday and everything was great! The rooms are nothing fancy, but our room was clean and the bed was so comfortable! Bartender on Friday night/Saturday afternoon was awesome! Valet was the sweetest! My only complaint is the food at the restaurant isn't the best. But I'm not going to dock any points for that. I'm picky when it comes to food. Not the hotels fault! If you're looking for fancy then don't come here and then leave a 1 star review. Go somewhere else. We loved our stay and will return with our kids next time

At first I was little worried about the room, had little musty smell. locks on the outside doors were old, hard to use, needs updating. doors are older but , probably sturdier than new ones. Bathroom was great & new, except had hold the toilet handle down long time to flush. Pool is great, jacuzzi, out side bar. Open till 9 pm I think. jet ski`s are a little pricey for the time you get. Beach is nice , and they have towels and chairs. Have a pool elevator which is awesome. Valet parking 20 bucks a day. It`s older place, so walls are not great, but looks like they keep up on the paint. room is like a 7, location , pool, beach 10. There was 3 tiny bugs on the ceiling I hopped up and got them with a tissue, noticed the celling was a little dirty. I would stay again. It would be great if they had fire pits, so they could keep the bar open till 10, 11 pm. A few people were playing cards passed 9 pm. People will stop going on vacation if they have to go back to the room earlier. They kept the pool area available after 9 pm which is great. I will stay here again. Front desk was good. service for breakfast not good.
