(May 3, 2019, 12:46 pm)If you’re looking for some information about the Everglades, the information at this rest stop is complete. The facility is nice very roomy with lots of parking. The restrooms were quite clean and there was a lot of them. Drink vending machines on-site for a quick snack or drink. A good place to take a quick break, stretch your legs and let the dog out. Worth the stop!

(December 26, 2018, 5:38 pm)We have stopped here twice now headed to the Keys. This rest stop is very clean and has snacks and drink vending machines. It also has a history map / counter display of the Everglades and South Florida. If you are using Google Maps and it's telling you there is not a Northbound re- entrance to Alligator Alley , that is incorrect. Just enlarge your map and you will see it. There is also plenty of outside covered seating And we have seen occasional wildlife
(August 2, 2018, 8:13 pm)I’ve driven a lot and this is a fantastic cool ???? rest stop. I’ll be back definitely. I was trying to roam Markham Park in Sunrise but I wanted to stop and see some of my states swampy side. I loved it. It’s easily accessible and open to the public 24hours a day 7 days a week.
