Social Security Administration

Today, I visited the Social Security Office in Margate, Florida and was pleasantly surprised because I received an unusually empathetic, above and beyond, professional customer service, from Mrs. Ospina. I describe her personal customer service etiquette in that manner because her mannerism and display of professionalism is quite unlike many government workers.

I am thankful there are governmental representatives like Mrs. Ospina. I appreciated the assistance I received today. It shows that there is hope for citizens who deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.

The reason her outstanding service is so notable is the fact only a few days prior, the customer service received from one of Mrs. Ospina’s colleague, left a great deal to be desired. This worker was notably disrespectful and obviously thought she was in a position of authority that she believed gave her the right to deal unfairly and inequitably with a Citizen who was simply seeking some vital assistance from the Government. The information this employee provided was begrudgingly shared and it was quite obvious she lacks self-love, which attitude was displayed in the manner in which she treated someone who “looks” just like her.

Thank you, Mrs. Ospina! Maybe you can assist with I servicing staff members on customer service skills!

I truly do like coming here for services whether it's for me or my mother. I am treated with so much love, respect, patience, and compassion by every staff member, social security representative, and security guard. I just want to say thank you to the Margate crew you all are amazing and I know at times the workload will get overwhelming at times. But always remember you all are doing a phenomenal job when it comes to serving the community and I appreciate every one of you for all your hard work and dedication. To make a long review short I'm going to end by saying this, thank you, thank you, and thank you.

Long wait time but that’s my fault honestly I should have know better to come early.The two guard were super helpful and surprisingly nice most government office everyone is rude lol.
Even the lady who help at window 7 is so sweet! Sad I couldn’t catch her name.
