Just moved to the area and my college freshman daughter came down with pus filled pockets in her throat. First time trying MD Express. Mitchell, PA, thoroughly evaluated her, asked questions and completed lab testing. He spoke to both my 18 yr. old daughter, as well as myself, respecting both Mom and young adult. He even came back after a confirmed diagnosis of Mono and reviewed potential medications complications. Very impressed, when few medical experiences are impressive these days.

I must share a positive note. I had an online appt and after checking in which was minimal (I already have a Riverside account), I was called back soon after. I was treated and out of there 1 hour from my original appointment time. I even became faint and they were quickly there with water and the Dr asked if I was okay. Everyone was amazing, caring. I knew not to pick a morning time, so that may have helped in the time. But, again the entire staff were amazing!!

It’s too bad this urgent care has so many bad reviews. I’ve come here several times over the past year and a half and think it’s great given how much this town is growing and the lack of medical providers around (literally a shortage on everything in Gloucester, like High Schools, quality grocery stores, entertainment for kids, etc). I digress. But I haven’t ever made an appointment and try to get there when they open or just after. It’s been busy when I had to go on a Sunday for example, but again, given how many people were there, you can tell they’re going as quickly as possible and I don’t feel like they’re rushing when you meet the doctors.

I certainly like it better than Velocity urgent care because I don’t understand how you need an appointment when it’s urgent, duh.

They are absolutely fantastic, and was worth the wait , last Monday. They followed up Tuesday morning, and called me in Levaquin, to knock back a spot of pneumonia. I'll be back for a follow up X-Ray, next week. They knew I was getting ready to run the Richmond half Marathon,and I'm on the mend. Patience is a virtue, this time of year. Thank you for helping me.
