Went too the competitor across the street and they had cancled our appointment with no update. I called pelican and Fernando said come on over. Took great care of us. My son was able to take his explorer flight on his birthday as planned. Great service from the front desk and in the air. Great job. Thank you. Will be back

Great Flight school.
I did my whole training from zero to MEI with the F-1 program, finishing with +1500h.
Along the training i got good instructors that help me to achieve all my goals.

Best flight school in South Florida I highly recommend to everybody. Staff are very respectful, great customer service, and the instructors go out of their way to help; they want you to succeed. One instructor that was extremely helpful was Nikita. If you want to learn how to flight this is the place to go.

In January 2020 as an American student pilot living in New York/New Jersey, I stumbled on Pelican Flight Training by accident. I was visiting my mom in Florida and did not want a 4 week lapse in my training. It was one of the best things to happen to me!
The lessons at home we’re good but Pelican runs a 141 operation with training I have not received anywhere else!
So good that in March 2021, I returned as a private pilot to Pelican for a few weeks. In addition to safety instruction, I was looking to earn a complex endorsement which I did.
Pelican's focus on safety, training for the unexpected and level of instruction are why I keep going back. They graduate and keep pilot's sharp!
North Perry airport KHWO (Pembroke Pines FL) has 4 runways, is in class D airspace and is controlled/towered. It’s like learning to drive in New York City - If you can fly there you can fly anywhere :)
