WOW WOW WOW. What a great experience going Horseback Riding. I picked this place to take my wife and surprise her for her birthday. I have only been on horses a couple times before arriving to American Horse Trails. They made me feel so comfortable and so secure when riding the Horses. The Staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. By the end of my ride I felt confident and a better rider than when I arrive. They catered to my wife also who loves horses and had an amazing time on her special day. Anabelle and Andrea our guides for the trail were both excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly and taught us more about horses in 2 hours than we’ve learned at any other place. Herb shows us tremedous hospitality as well as the rest of the staff. Carol, Rafael and Angelo Thank you also for everything. The Horses were amazing and well-taken care of and beautiful. They have a nice sitting area and bar with refreshment to sit and relax before and after the ride.
The Trails are great. We walked , galloped and cantered with the horses on the trails...A nice ride and I highly recommend this place for horseback riding for anyone looking to ride horses. The Staff will take care of you and have you fully satisfied. My wife and I are already planning our next visit.

My husband and I had a fantastic ride this morning, our trail guide was Angelo. Informative, entertaining, a wonderful way to spend our Sunday!! We will definitely be back.

Highly recommend and very likely to return. We booked a trail ride (walk, trot, canter) and although it was not what I expected we had a great time. The staff is wonderful, friendly and treats you like family. Unlike most places you go for a trail ride these horses all had their own unique personalities.

I took my 15 and 16 year old sisters here. The staff was amazing from the start. Since we were all beginners, we did the 1 hour trail (walk only) and the young woman (forgot her name) was a great teacher and guide. The horses were all well-trained and we never felt unsafe. My sisters and I felt comfortable exploring the trail with the horses. It was my 15 year old sister's birthday and Carol was incredibly sweet. She brought my sister a cowgirl hat to take pictures and she also treated us to cupcakes. She didn't have to do any of these things so we greatly appreciated it; my sisters didn't want to leave! I would definitely recommend doing the 2 hour trail because my sisters felt like the 1 hour trail was too short after they got the hang of riding the horses. Nevertheless, it was a wonderful start to my sister's birthday. Thank you for everything! We will definitely come back.

I LOVED my experience! I was down visiting with my husband back in March. I'd hadn't been riding in a few years, but I'm an experienced rider ....the hubby ....not so much. We let the staff know and they matched us with the perfect horses. Our guide was very sweet. We are coming down from NY again next Sun and will definitely be back. Hopefully, I can have the pleasure of riding Lucky again. Beautiful horse, spunky personality.
