“Love this place! We were surprised when we saw how beautiful and amazing Casa Cascada is, and it is exactly like in the pictures. Nice and friendly hosts, ready to help right away! This place has a perfect location for family and friends, every inch of this area is convenient. Great views and perfectly located to access all the fun events in the city. “We stayed there for our week out of Wilderness Lakes RV Resort since my husband had broken his leg and couldn't drive our truck and fifth-wheel. We were fortunate enough to have friends staying at Wilderness Lakes who could help us move the 15 miles to Royal Holiday and back. The location was fabulous, right in town, and the people were friendly. It's a Mobile home park with a few RV sites. The sites were huge with their own cement patios. The roads were nice for pushing my husband around in his wheelchair.”

I found this location to be a perfect location not far from a lot of things I wanted to see and do. Where the outside did not look kept up the inside was very clean with not bad smells. My room was clean and well maintained. Internet was fine and the service personnel were all great. It was very quiet at night and with the pool view I also had a view of the lake. Breakfast was OK but I miss the Belgium waffles. I highly recommend this location and will be staying there again. Please watch for the bad reviews as they are not all reliable. “Betty Ann and Bruce are true blue Gods children. They were very personable and accommodating. They didn’t have a problem with me extending my stay and they made me feel right at home. I feel blessed to meet such a nice couple and I will always remember my stay,, while I was closing my real estate purchase. The only problem I had was staying at a corporate hotel the first week I was in Largo. Wish I knew about the Sea Star before I drove by it. “Recently remodeled and under new ownership. The new owners go above and beyond to keep the property very clean, quiet, and nicely maintained. Located about a mile from the beach and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, close enough for convenience but far enough to avoid the noise from the planes. This is an amazing place for longer term residency as well as seasonal visitors.”

“We stayed at this Hampton Inn while in town for a concert at the fair grounds. We booked our stay through the Hilton honors app, so I was able to check in online ahead of time and walk right to our room when we arrived without stopping at the desk. They placed us in a room with no next door neighbors as usual. I liked this hotel because it had free parking and free hot breakfast. It was clean and spacious, as I always expect from staying with Hilton. The staff we did interact with was very friendly. The pool and hot tub were open, so we did enjoy an evening relaxing. There were many restaurants and shops nearby. Most of the winners we found in the area were ten minutes or less away. The gas station directly next to the hotel was also a huge plus. It was open when we left at 5am. I’ve seen reviews of this specific hotel complaining about ridiculously expensive hidden fees. I have never, in five years, experienced this. I book exclusively with Hilton using their app and the usual cleaning fees have applied.”

“From the moment we stepped foot at The Marlin we loved everything about this hotel! It was a pleasure staying here!! We absolutely loved everything about the room and how modern and clean it was and my husband loved his birthday decorations and weekend!! Max, the owner was able to accommodate my request and he was so kind, welcoming, and caring, and we really appreciated it! We had everything we needed and there were beach towels and beach chairs already in our room. Max made sure we had everything we needed. And to top it off the beach is literally right in front of you, just steps away. The customer service was excellent and everytime we come to Florida we will be staying here!!!”

Lots of board games and card games included for those rainy days. The pool was great for little kids and very private. The house was clean.
