“We arrived early in the morning and at first the waitress was not very friendly at all. In fact we both commented on her curtness. There were only three other customers in addition to ourselves and they had already been served. The waitress did however seem a bit friendlier when she brought our food and on one subsequent visit to our table. The Breakfast selection was limited, but they serve a full breakfast and it was prepared very well. I would go back.”

“This is one of those hidden gems. The park os located off Dunn Avenue, on Key Haven Road. It's on the same side as the Gate Gas Station but the street (Key Haven) right before it. Go through the neighborhood and take the street all the way until it ends and the entrance to the park is on the right. The park is very quiet. You can fish, kayak, watch the birds, see the creatures in the water, walk the trails, or take out your binoculars and view the scenery. There are also private enclosed picnic areas and vacation cabins. If you are planning to spend a few hours, bring your bug spray and sun tan lotion and sun hat. If you fish off the pier, their is not a covering from the sun. There is also a community center that you can rent for special occasions. It is equipped with a full kitchen, tables and chairs and restrooms. Parking is extremely tight, so keep that in mind if you are planning a special function. It's not a park for RV's or travel trailers, parking is just too tight and the turn around would be challenging! No pets are allowed except for service dogs. No swimming and no drinking and that's it for the most part.”
