  Dr. Mckenzie was amazing and extremely caring when he performed surgery on our dog about eight weeks ago. While the surgery itself looks to be successful, our dog developed a bit of a bacterial infection and sores due to the bandaging of the surgery site. Dr. Mckenzie didn't hesitate to provide medical care above what was expected and ultimately prevented the situation from getting worse, extending an already lengthy recovery. We can't thank him enough for providing the best possible care and highest chance of a successful recovery.

  They helped me give my beloved cat eternal peace today. Her hospital stay wasn’t cheap, but I got what I paid for, as well as some things that can’t be bought like patience, kindness and compassion. I wish I could say it was a happy ending, but Dr. Martinez helped me give my sweet girl the ending she deserved. Most importantly, they gave me the answers I needed to make peace with my decision. Dr. Voisine went above and beyond for my cat and for me. The vets at other veterinary hospitals just dismissed her and some even refused to evaluate or treat her, but Dr. Voisine sought the opinion of her colleagues at academic centers so that we knew there was absolutely nothing else to be done. Every single veterinarian took time to communicate with me when I called for updates, and the techs and rest of the staff were professional and compassionate. I felt like they cared about my cat as much as I did, and I couldn’t have asked for better care.

  Great staff. Extremely professional and kept us updated well along the way. We were told we could call whenever we wanted an update and I truly felt like they cared.

  I was very pleased with this ER vet. They did a great job and all the staff was very friendly. It was a good experience.

  Many thanks to Dr. Kimberly Voisine, Tech Kristin and the reception office staff at BluePearl Jax Southside. My Coton De Tulear pup Jazz had suffered diarrhea and soft serve stools for nearly all of her 6 years. The situation became catastrophic when my dog was found to have low protein in Feb 2019. Effectively my dog was starving in plain sight despite being fed expense dog foods. Our wellness vet conducted many tests for several months and the low protein numbers were just getting worse.
  
  I learned from social media that there were Internal Medicine Specialist (IMS) veterinarians. I called the Jacksonville Veterinary Society and asked for a referral to a IMS. Dr Voisine was among the vets. On May 2 2019 I took my Jazz to Dr Voisine. She gave my dog a combination treatment of medications and Rx food.
  
  In 24 hours for the first time in years, my Jazz had solid Tootsie Roll stools. Yes, in 24 hours my dog’s health began to turn around. Two weeks later, my dog’s protein numbers were normal. For months now my dog’s protein numbers have been normal. Jazz’s coat has become very full again and she’s her spunky puppy funny self again. Now 8 months later, my pup is off all medications.
  
  Again Thanks You Dr Voisine for being so knowledgeable. Thank you Kristin for your nurse like care. And Thanks to the reception office staff for processing the insurance claims so I could get speedy payments.
