Bethany Center

This is a wonderful retreat center. The rooms were spacious. The grounds are beautiful and brimming with nature/wildlife. The food was delicious. The only issue with the place is that it is a long walk from the main hall to the cottages. It's not a problem for those in good health, but I had a walking boot so I had to wait on someone to bring me via golf cart back and forth. Forth. I would have loved it if I could have walked myself. There were some elderly ladies in our group who also had to be transported. But for anyone young and in shape, this is the perfect place for retreat.

A splendid balance of reverence and diligent attention fill these grounds. The staff are very courteous. The food is among the best I have experienced at a retreat center having done a 5day retreat silent retreat here. The rooms are very conducive to interior quiet.

While the chapel itself is not extraordinary and the tabernacle is relegated to to the side outside of immediate visibility, (“They have taken my Lord and I do not know where they have laid him.” John 20:13) the prominent windows behind the altar frame a solemn crucifixion scene.

Rocking chairs guild the entirety of the property making leisurely reflection immediately available.

I came here with my fiancé for our Journey to Matrimony retreat, and we truly enjoyed it here. The atmosphere felt so peaceful and calming. We enjoyed walks here during breaks in between sessions. My room that I stayed in was extremely neat and clean. There were extra towels and toiletries, and it truly felt like an upscale hotel. My fiancé and I were sad to leave this beautiful place so soon. We just loved all the greenery, and we even saw baby armadillos and deer.

Very nice event center. Perfect for meetings or retreats. Everything is super clean. Great views of nature. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great view. Serene. The rooms and certain meeting centers are out by the lake and a bit secluded. This would be a great location for team building exercises or any activity where distractions shouldn't get in the way.
