Jupiter Electric Bikes

Purchased a Jupiter X5 and am so very pleased I did* I am in quarantine and needed a bike that was portable, easy to use ***and fun. This bike has been that and more. I am 62 - weight 110 and was not an avid bike person( Had fallen off a bike eight years ago never got back on)-I took a chance with this bike and received it from Costco * it arrived 3 days later -packed impeccably and assembled. I needed some help from the company with a few questions and the customer service has been phenomenal- ie* somehow I lost one of the keys for the battery =they sent two to me -free the next day* they have been very helpful with questions I needed answered *beyond delighted with this bike.

My wife and I just purchased our 3rd set of Jupiter Electric Bikes. One set lives on our boat, 2nd set lives at home and the fist set we gave to our kids. Needless to say our Jupiter bikes allow us to enjoy the freedom to explore all the different ports we visit. When not in use the bikes easily fold up and are stowed away. We LOVE our Jupiter folding bikes and the newer version just keep getting better in all areas. Thank you Jupiter Bike!

Still waiting for the package

The model I purchased was the Defiant which has the big tires and is designed for all-terrain riding so I can’t comment on the other two smaller models. Shipping was extremely fast and the bike was mostly assembled, so there was little work for me to do on it. My only advice is the Defiant model is quite heavy so be careful moving it during assembly.

Two components were broken (but functional) and I had to get them replaced for free as they were both under warranty. Easy fix; the rest of the bike was in perfect condition and rides very smoothly. Note: This bike can attain 20 mph on a straight flat road all on its own. However, the pedal assist is excellent and using the battery powered throttle isn’t necessary unless you just want to be lazy or are commuting. Since this bike is meant for off road duty, I think it will fulfill its purpose with more than enough power.

My only gripe about the bike is the weight, and I wish the brakes were better as once this bike gets moving she doesn’t want to stop. I do like this company and Jim is an excellent representative for the organization.
