  Using my wife's account, I wanted to share that I highly recommend Vigil if you want to learn the best way to play guitar. He has a great method of bringing the student along and making good progress on this instrument. There are a lot of places offering guitar lessons, I did a lot of research and found Virgil to the best value.

  Virgil is an exceptional guitar player, excellent at playing old style rock and has an amazing tone. He showed me alot and certainly throws his heart into teaching. I was sad to go. I had to leave town because circumstances warranted it. Would have kept taking lessons if I could of. I would recommend him to anyone looking to gain guitar skills he makes you remember. Thanks Virgil.

  I have thoroughly enjoyed my time learning from Virgil. He’s a great teacher and will help keep you motivated to practice and play.

  Great teacher for anyone looking to pick up the guitar. Understands how to teach you the fundamentals and give you the tools to progress as quickly as you’re willing to practice. Glad I gave Virgil a chance and have been going for almost 3 years now.

  I guess first I'd like to thank google for bringing me here. A guitar teacher that actually instucts you on how to be a better player. A wealth of knowledge. And the jokes. Don't forget to bring your sense of humor. I've been taking lessons for 6 months. I look forward to my lessons every week. Probably because there is no pressure. He stays where I stay in the lessons. He never gives me grief for not practicing. He might joke about it but he will find ways to keep me interested so that I want to practice. He will even offer a lesson on how to practice. Haha. I had to accept that offer. I feel like he really pays attention to where I am at skill wise and just keeps handing me ways to improve. What a good dude. Hands down best instructor I've ever had.
