Tampa Happy Smiles: Dr. Marta Rivera DDS

Dr. Marta Rivera is excellent. I highly recommend her and her staff. Both my children have been going to her for many years. I have a 19 year old with braces, and a 9 year old who will need braces in a few years. We found Dr. Marta when my 19 year old son was about 8 years old. We had been to several dentists due to a problem (I'm writing this in layman's terms) with his upper jaw being smaller than his lower jaw (I'm writing this in layman's terms). He was starting to develop a severe underbite. No dentist would touch him as an orthodontic patient. They all wanted to do surgery that entailed breaking the bones of his upper jaw, wiring his mouth shut, etc. As a parent, I felt that was an extreme surgery for my son and didn't want him to go through that. There was also risk of nerve damage from the surgery. So after consulting with Dr. Rivera , she accepted him as a patient. Fast forward 11 years and my son has a beautiful smile. The bones in his face have grown correctly and perfectly. You would never know he ever had a problem. I'm so tremendously thankful for Dr. Marta's expertise and knowledge. She is caring, compassionate, and all around an exceptional dentist. If you are looking for a wonderful dentist, I highly recommend her and her practice. Her staff is also kind and caring, and she has a beautiful, modern office in the New Tampa area. A bonus is she speaks Spanish fluently, along with several staff members. 5 stars (I would give her 100 stars if I could!)

We enjoy coming here for our lil ones cleaning and Dental needs. Dr. Rivera is nice, professional and answers all your questions! The staff and hygienist are really nice too and take their time and understand when it’s hard for children to come to the Dentist. They are really good with kids. I also like that the Dr. is knowledgeable about tongue ties and cares about preventative care too. Keep it up.

Dr. Marta is such a wonderful and caring person. Her passion for pediatric dentistry and compassion for her little patients is wonderful. Dr. Marta’s skills with special needs children, in my opinion, sets her apart. Thank you Dr. Marta for all you do!

I'm a new patient and I've got to say I really had a pleasant experience.
Everyone that I've met so far was super friendly and nice.
They sure made me feel very comfortable and relaxed.
They explained everything they did to me. The office was super clean and nice atmosphere too. I met Dr. Marta first visit and she was informative and sweet. They have the latest technology that made me feel like they are currant with procedures. So far so good! Highly would recommend.

AWESOME! We saw Dr. Denise at this office and she was amazing!! The most caring, patient dentist we have ever seen (and we have been through a lot with 4 kids and lots of dental work). Truly cares about your children and does not see them as dollar signs. My daughter REFUSED nitrous and Dr. Denise still fixed two cavities. I have NEVER seen a dentist explain everything so patiently and in a caring manner. Truly Amazing.
