I have been coming here for years. I love the staff and the Vets. They are sweet and gentle with your fur babies and truly care about your family. I also love that they do not force products or constantly try to sell you items/foods . Other vets I have gone to , I always felt as if I went into a retail shop where they are always trying to sale something and you no longer feel you are at a caring office. Southpaw Animal Health has an awesome team!

After moving back to Tampa, I knew I would be returning to Southpaw once I adopted a dog because I absolutely loved how we (me & prior pets) were treated in the past and how caring Dr. Drake had always been.
My first visit back after many years...everyone was so kind. From the front office staff to Paula & Dr Castro they were all very patient with me and Zoey.

Thank you to the whole staff and Doctor. From the time I made the appointment to the time I left everyone so very nice and professional. I couldn’t get in my fur baby’s normal vet until Tuesday and it was only Friday. I called here and they got me in same day. Doctor was so sweet and was very thorough. I will now be bringing my fur baby here. Bear says thank you 🐶

I absolutely love this vet and I have been to a lot around the area as well as NH and NC. The staff are very kind and welcoming and Dr. Rottenberk is AMAZING! I pray my children have as amazing doctors and school teachers as her. I am pretty protective and nervous about my dog and I never thought I would be so comfortable and trusting with a vet! She is so reassuring and kind and I strongly recommend her as your vet as well as this office!

My dog had an issue with his eye and also some allergy issues and they got me in within a couple of days. All of the staff were super sweet and helpful and they weren't trying to up charge or over charge for anything. I was very pleased with their services. I will continue to use them for my pets needs in the future.
