Additionally, I found Chris Evans to be a great mentor. He took me under his wing, showed me the ins and outs of each procedure done at this office and always lead by example. “I had a great experience. I had made an online appointment, and was seen by a medical professional within 15 minutes of my appointment time. The worst pay was doing the intake forms, and I recommend sending a link for patients to complete prior to arrival. I was treated respectfully, bya professional staff, and received medication that has already started working. I've been to other urgent cares where I waited over 4 hours that are close to this one. Kudos!”

“It's extremely difficult to put in words how much BCOTB has meant to us and our son. However, I want other parents to know how special this place is, so I'll try... Our son had just turned 2 and my wife was concerned with a couple behaviors he had been exhibiting. They were rather subtle, so I didn't pick up on anything. This was very much "mother's intuition." Even our pediatrician thought he was fine. We took him to see a child psychologist to be proactive (Dr. Danielle Sutton in Tampa was amazing), and after observation, she diagnosed him with ASD. It was difficult to hear, but we got him into therapy right away. He has been going to BCOTB since April 2015 and he absolutely loves it. He has worked with several therapists since then and they are all amazing, special people who we trust completely. In the past few years, it has been nothing short of remarkable to see his progress. When looking at the charts that quantify his progress, it shows him almost caught up to where he should be. But as his dad and interacting with him, I don't need to see charts to tell how much BCOTB has helped him. We feel absolutely blessed to have BCOTB in our lives. We actually took our son to see Dr. Sutton 6 months into therapy to see what she thought of his progress. She was ecstatic. She made a comment that I thought was worth sharing. After observing our son, she said (and I'm paraphrasing) "Whatever BCOTB is doing is working wonders. Unfortunately, many kids come in after going to an ABA clinic, and they just do 'pony tricks.' It's not really developmental progress or social skills and it gives ABA a bad name." And I wanted to say, as a dad/parent, don't be afraid. If you feel something is off with your child, no matter how slight, take your child to be evaluated. Don't be so afraid of a potential diagnosis that you don't get them the help they need. The sooner you intervene, the bigger the impact therapy can have. I have seen other parents "wait it out" and hope their child catches up, and it's heartbreaking. Every day counts. I hope you find this helpful.”

“Dr. Barreiro did such an amazing job with my first c section and the plastibell for our son’s circumcision that I chose my 2nd c section date based on her availability. They asked what date do you want your 2nd little guy born? And I asked when is Dr. Barreiro on the schedule during my 39th week? Because I normally go to the Lutz office, I rotated her in to my last few visits at the Tampa North office both times to get more acquainted with her. So in all she performed 2 sections, my tube removal during 2nd c section and both of our sons’ plastibells. Her skill is amazing and her demeanor while direct is very caring. She helped me understand everything every step is the way.”

“Party of 9 aye here 7/6/22. First time here, was recommended by a friend. Wasn’t badly busy for a 4th July weekend. We came here around 11:30/ noon. The food was delicious and well prepared. It’s a buffet style southern restaurant. The strawberry shortcake was amazing. You can’t go to plant city and not get strawberry’s. After all it’s the capitol of the world for them. Your party’s can’t be seated until all members have arrived. The staff was friendly and attentive. Never had empty glasses. The bathrooms were clean and not sticky. Somehow awkward with how the doors worked. Nothing degrading point value. Never had fried catfish before, this did not disappoint! Would have it again anytime from here. You pay at front, plenty if seating. Had toothpicks at counter. Everything runs smooth and takes germ precautions well with gloves, sanitizer, and spoons. The parking spaces can be a bit small and hard to find. Well worth circling the lot a few times. Hope to return soon.”
