“We took out car to the adult auto mechanics class to fix a serious front end problem. Other paid mechanics had all failed to find and fix this trouble. The students at Learey Technical College, under the instruction of Mr. Tom Shindel, found the defective parts. We were provided a list of parts and other things to purchase so the class could complete needed work. They replaced the lower control arm (drivers side) that had been the source of loud banging every time we drove. This was a serious safety issue in our thinking. Students also change the oil and filter, replaced the A/C cabin air filter, mounted / balanced 5 tires and did a 4 wheel alignment of the car. The car drives beautifully now same as if it were a new car instead of a 13 year old vehicle. Prior to this work we wanted to get rid of the car, now we want to keep it longer since it drives so quite and straight. Before this experience with the students going to L:earey Technical College we had been questioning the value of any work done by mechanics students. We could not have been more wrong to question the work they do. Not only did they do a great job they did a better job than several paid mechanics who could not locate the trouble we were having with out car. Those mechanics fixed several things which may not have needed repairs done costing us hundreds of dollars and a lot of lost time. This is why Learey Technical College gets a 5 star rating from us. They deserve more than 5 stars!”

I love how she’s getting new stock every week and she really gets to know each customer and their preferences, so every shopping experience is fantastic! I love the bamboo + quality of all the little clothes there but the selection of blankets and mom/dad lounge is my favorite!! I think I’ve gotten 6 blankets from here so far and I am hooked! “We had heard it was the best mushroom burger in Odessa. I’d venture to say the best in the Tampa Bay Area. I ordered a Mushroom Burger and my husband ordered a BBQ burger. They looked and tasted like hand made patties with plenty of juices flowing with every bite. . (You could order 1/4 pound or 1/2 pound patty.) The burgers arrived cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients on brioche buns with fabulous fries (thick potato and regular sweet potato.) (That’s saying something, because I usually don’t find fries to be fresh or tasty. These were both.) Staff was fast and efficient. Ambience definitely the tavern feel with pool tables, TV screens and a bar, but clearly the locals and their families know how good it is, because they were all dining with us. This place is a hidden gem. You’d never know what great burgers awaited in this corner tavern and pub. The rumor was true! Best Mushroom burger in Odessa (and beyond).”
