  A very nice park for the kiddos. Splash park to run around in is always good in the heat. The beach area is nice but small. Of course, it's a lake park so small is expected. Decent sand though. The splash park is staffed too which was a welcome surprise.

  An Awesome place for walks, biking, swimming, events and food. There are public restrooms, playgrounds, trails and piers. If you want to sit on one of many benches to enjoy the lake, watch the water, enjoy the birds, enjoy the weather or enjoy the sun and breeze, this park offers all of those pleasures. The sunsets are beautiful and also an excellent date walking spot, getting to know you spot and loving the company spot. The only potential issue is, pedestrians are not always kind to cyclists. The walkers and dog owners tend to hog the trails... Check the internet for local sporting events as well. This park is well worth a trip for the entire family.

  IT was a very nice place to go. We had a great time with family and friends for a Birthday party. A little difficult finding the way out. ????

  Waterfront Park is one of many City of Clermont parks open for public enjoyment. There is free adequate parking and is located along the bike / pedestrian trail. The trail can be busy with many people including those walking from parking to the 'beach' so be careful! The water is generally calm and shallow. The beach is mostly sand, but does have increasing areas of grass. Picnic tables are available, but personal grills are not allowed. Bring charcoal if you plan on cooking out. Also, dogs and other pets are not allowed on a majority of the beach. You have to go outside the swimming area. The park also boasts a splash pad ($2/person), a pavilion, basketball court, public bathrooms and a playground for the young ones.

  This is a great park. There's a popular long paved bike/running trail that runs through it, and the lake and large oak trees are beautiful.
  
  For kids, a playground is on the soft sand at the edge of the (swimmable) lake. There's a big splash pad and basketball court.
  
  There's fishing piers, picnic tables with grills, and open grassy areas, where there always seems to be some event going on.
  
  Clean bathrooms (I think with showers even), water fountains, nice covered picnic area...walkable to a cute restaurant, Lilly's on the Lake.
  
  There are people out doing so many different activities...families playing..students doing sports/reading/hanging with friends... people out exercising, walking dogs, you name it. Feels very safe and peaceful.
