“My mom was transferred from the hospital for rehab following a broken hip. The staff could not have been more helpful and caring during her stay. The facilities seemed new and very clean. Every day the facility provided activities such as bingo, outside singers, as well as entertainers that came to the room to cheer up the patients and visitors. One such visit was a young lady with a cute dog in a remote controlled car that went from room to room. Thank you Marsha (Activities Director)!! They also have a Care Team that provides a Care meeting with the family on predetermined intervals. The Care Team has representatives from each department responsible for care. The meeting is useful in answering questions, allowing patient feedback, and offering a checkpoint on the progress being made. It was at this meeting that I learned my mom had improved enough that she will be released in just a few days. Overall I would definitely select The Lakes of Clermont again, if my family ever has a need.”

“Dr. Jacob is one of the kindest doctors I’ve encountered! She gave my mom and I hugs upon entering our patient room. She actually LISTENS to her patients and even says “Now let me listen to you, tell me what is going on”. She goes through your lab work in detail and answers any questions you have, explains them so well! She is genuinely caring and knowledgeable. She also was the one who led me to being diagnosed with MS thanks to an MRI order! Thank you Dr. Jacob for making me feel seen and heard!”

“My girls have been seeing Dr Smith for years they are now in their twenties and he now sees my granddaughter. Hands down he is a fantastic doctor and truly listens to his patients concerns. He doesn't push medication if you don't want it and provides alternative solutions. He is finally settled in his newest location after several unfortunate events through no fault of his own or staff. They run the office like any other small practice with limited staff and yet they always come through with anything we need. Dr Smith answers texts and always makes a spot when we need him last minute. My kids love him and we are super thankful for him. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a family physician. He also has the best shoes!!!”

“This place is family owned for over 50 years! Tracy is an excellent barber, capable of cutting my hair, as well as my sons hair, which are very different haircuts than mine. They do good work, and they care about their clientele. He gave me an “emergency” cell phone number. Sounds funny, but if you have a medical emergency, or an unexpected occasion, even a funeral, he will make arrangements to accommodate you. Very professional, reliable, and courteous”

I want to say that doctor, nurse practitioner and his staff really take time to go through patient medical history, imaging studies and clinical notes before they see the patient. Sometimes it does take some time to review all the clinical notes, but they just want to make sure the best care, a lot of hard work behind the scene. “Dr. Maria Vazquez is wonderful! My husband had blood in his urine and was in a lot of pain for more than three months. After visiting two different urologists, the ER and doing multiple tests nobody could figure out what was causing it. Finally I made an appointment with Dr. Maria Vazquez and she was so kind. She listened to all our concerns and prescribed him a medication that made the blood and the pain go away after two days!! She took the time to explain everything in clear and easy way and made sure that before we left we knew everything that we need to know. Mr Manuel Rios is also deserving of praise because he always treats my husband like family every time he comes.
