  Gorgeous setting, lovely old building pretty well maintained. Clubby bar has live piano. Nice dining room with great view of their garden. Rooms not completely modern, but clean and comfortable.

  My husband and I had a date day in Mt Dora, Fl and went to the Lakeside Inn for lunch. It's a beautiful historical building, built in 1883. The food is fantastic and so is the service. (Thank you Michelle and kitchen!) I got the Monte Cristo sandwich. It comes with a dipping sauce made of mandarin oranges and raspberry sauce. I never thought of dipping a sandwich with meat and cheese in a sauce like that, but it was amazing! The whole area around the Inn was beautiful and peaceful. A nice break from where we live in Florida! We would definitely go back!

  Cool historic inn in downtown Mount Dora. The rooms can use some maintenance and fixes. But the palace has a character. WiFi in room is bad that is why I gave it only a 4. Awesome view of the lake at sunset.

  O just love the grounds there watching the sun set and all. Food was great, only wish they had steaks...but steak burgers were the bomb! Been there 3 times now and will definitely go back again I am sure.

  Definitely old glorious Florida. Ambiance has been maintained thank heavens. Bar is beautiful and fun. Good entertainment, drinks and dinners good. A must if visiting Mt adorable.
