  Mount Dora Bowl has not only taken on a name and image change, their lanes have been upgraded as well. I was very impressed with the welcome improvement. Very clean, quaint and orderly typifying the perfect community or neighborhood bowling center. There's a pro shop, restaurant and lane service. Each lane has long comfy couches, rather than hard seats. I found that this creates a more warm invitation to relax or energize between games or turns.
  Ethel, long time mainstay (26 years) can always be seen from the front of the house to the kitchen, and within easy reach. Friendly and efficient, she knows her stuff! Staff member Christina quickly processed our visit, assigned our lanes and even set it up for us! I plan to make Mount Dora Bowl part of my bi-monthly form of exercise and definitely recommend stopping by!

  Not a big bowling alley but it was adequate. Friendly staff. Shoes in good condition. Beer on tap in addition to some cocktails and food, however we didn't try anything but the beer which we bought by the pitcher that had an ice thing that kept the beer cold. It was a fun night out for the family and the prices were fair.

  I love bowling at this small 16 lane center. I bowl league here, and practice several times a week with my son in law and daughter. Love the staff, especially Joanna. I’ve read the negative reviews concerning Joanna, and can’t believe them, as I’ve NEVER seen nor heard her raise her voice or be rude. She’s always friendly and gracious. Joanna as well as other staff members are great! If I have two small complaints, 1) It would be great if the lanes were oiled each evening, as it would be nice to practice on lanes that are somewhat close to a league condition. 2) Fix the A/C, as it’s difficult to bowl in a sweat shop! Other than that, I love bowling there....
