“I called Faden Builders on 09/26/18, and left a message requesting information on getting an estimate. A very nice young lady had Patrick (we call him Pat) call me back. After speaking with Pat we set a time for him to go into my commercial property between 10 and 11 am on Thursday 09/27/18. I found out by my location that Pat never arrived at my property. I immediately contacted the office and was transferred to Pat's cell phone. He stated that he got held up in a meeting, and was unable to make it to my location. I was genuinely surprised that I did not at least get a phone call stating that he would not be able to go out. In any event, I decided to give Pat a 2nd chance. We rescheduled for between 9 & 9:30 am today (Friday 09/28/10). It is now 12:00 noon and Pat has still not shown up, nor have I gotten the common courtesy of a phone call. I would NEVER recommend this company, if this is the way that they conduct their business. Update: After posting the above review I received a call from Todd Faden (owner). I explained why I left the review that I did, and Todd told me that if I gave him the opportunity that he would go to my location immediately, and let me know what I needed to have done. Todd was true to his word, went to my location immediately, and called me as soon as he returned. He also emailed me his recommendation, along with some additional information on where the problem was to begin with. This morning I received a proposal for the work, and this afternoon I received a phone call From Todd, just following up to make sure that I received everything that he sent me. Even though Todd has gone out of his way to make this right, I will not leave a 5 star review due to the initial issues. I would however, recommend Todd.”

“Bob and his staff are true professionals. I have a tbi and a brand new white suv. I literally couldn't find it in a parking lot (look! there are 20 in any parking lot) so I found a copyright free google image and my favorite phrase and Bob made it work as a back window tint. It looks BEAUTIFUL! Thanks to the bright yellows and pinks of the flowers I can find my SUV in ANY parking lot!!!”

“Amazing people! I failed to make a turn and fund myself driving my semi-truck on a dead end street. Not satisfied with my first mistake, I tried to make a u-turn on a grass field... it was firm enough, I checked before getting the truck off road, but my car carrier trailer is low and it got hung up... So I was stuck. I walk trying to find help and there it was! They chose to help me out even though it was time to go home for the rest of the day, I offered money and they said no, we are going to help you, no worries. Two guys, don’t know their names, spent about 2 hours trying to figure out how to get my truck out. No big cranes or heavy equipment available, just shovels, wood boards and a whole lot of wits. They did get the truck out! I would have spent the night out there waiting for a tow truck big enough to pull me out of there, besides hundreds of dollars. Let me tell you this, if you guys ever read this review, people like you is the reason that America is the greatest nation on earth, Thanks!!!”

“This little place just off SR441, a half mile or less past 46 going south, is a hidden gem. Jose is very honest, very nice with really truly, the best prices for tires. He basically just charges what the tires cost him and then charges a minimum for speed balancing, stems, mounting and tax. I highly recommend him. Oh, and he also does some repairs like putting on brake pads, oil changes, etc. You won't go wrong with this man and his business. Marcia Hamilton Mt. Dora”

“We have had Smitty’s work on our vehicle twice. The first time I had them fix my husband’s truck’s A/C for his birthday. They were awesome! They called me to tell me where they were at with things and the cost along the way. The second time my husband had a weird inconsistent shutter going on with his truck. They told me over the phone what it may be. We dropped off the truck and they worked hard to make sure we were able to pick the truck up by the end of the day since it is my husband’s only work truck. The problem was exactly what they thought and we had the truck by the end of the day. They even called me on a Saturday to make sure things were going okay with it still. THEY ARE AWESOME!! As a woman I hate when my husband asks me to coordinate our vehicle going to the shop because there is a tendency for me to get treated like I am an idiot. Smitty’s is not this way! I have never felt like they would rip us off. I would recommend them to anyone.”
