We really enjoyed this hotel.

The positives: It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot. The pool is amazing and the hot tub was hot. The breakfast was good too.

The negatives:

There is a coin laundry, but the hotel does not have a change machine and refuses to give change for cash at the front desk. We were in the area for hurricane relief and my cousin (local to Fort Myers) needed to be able to do laundry after a week of no power after the hurricane. The guy at the front desk told us maybe we could go to the gas station. If there is no change machine and the hotel won't provide change, why have coin laundry machines? That makes no sense.

Also, the fridge in our room did not work. We stayed for 2 nights and I tried turning the knob up the first night, and down the 2nd night. No luck. All our food went bad and the fridge smelled horrific. I told the girl at the front desk and she literally rolled her eyes at me and told me it probably wasn't set correctly. No apology or effort at customer service, no maintenance note, nothing. Just cynicism.

Stayed there 2 nights during evacuation from Hurricane Ian. Concrete building with generator for when power went out. Never without lights. Was without tv but that was ok. Building very sturdy so never shook in hurricane winds. Usual amenities with decent enough breakfast. No flooding. Very glad to be there in this event

Overall experience was really nice. AC worked well. The layout of the room was why they didn't get 5 star. It just didn't flow well. Staff was nice and place was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
