Swim Gym of Lakewood Ranch LLC

We’ve been attending the Swim Gym for nearly six years now. We first started taking ISR lessons when my oldest daughter was six months old. She still asks to attend stroke lessons when offered. My middle child also attended at six months old and begs me to take her back at four years old. She loves the refresher courses and stroke lessons that Jamie offers. She makes it fun and challenging. My youngest just turned one year old and completed ISR when she was six months old as well. Since then, we’ve been taking refresher courses twice a week. Since she knows how to float, Jamie will start another six week program where she will learn the swim-float-swim sequence. She’s one year old and will know how to swim! It’s unbelievable to me! I can’t recommend the Swim Gym enough!! The confidence they’ve given to my children is immeasurable and my anxiety around water with my kids has decreased significantly. It is completely worth signing up for!

Absolutely love swim gym and Shelby is a wonderful teacher. My daughter adores her and looks forward to her swim lessons every week. I would recommend her to any parent wanting to have their child learn ISR as well as regular swimming lessons. Shelby has the kindest temperament and put my toddler at ease right away. My 3 year old went from being afraid of putting her face under water to going under no fear in no time. So glad we found Shelby and swim gym.

We put my daughter into infant swim lessons when she was two years old. There were a few tears for the first week or so, but Ms. Melissa was great with her, and she soon loved her daily swim lesson! When she had completed the initial 6 week course, she loved swimming so much that we decided to keep her in once weekly maintenance lessons. She is now three and a half and is like a fish in the water. Swim Gym has given us such peace of mind in regards to water safety (especially living in Florida), and we are so grateful it was recommended to us last year. We are preparing to put our 9 month old into lessons soon, and are so thankful for Ms. Melissa and all that she has taught our older daughter!

We have had two daughters go through the training at Swim Gym and we feel extremely confident with both of them around water now. They are much more comfortable in the water now that they know how to swim. Melissa was the instructor for both of our daughters. She does a fantastic job of building a relationship with the children so that they trust her in the water. I would recommend Melissa to anyone who is looking for swim lessons for their child!

Anita and Jamie have been amazing to work with over the last 18 months. Not only are they wonderful at teaching skills needed for survival and being life long swimmers, they are so kind and caring to their students. They go above and beyond what is expected and make each child feel like part of their family. The peace of mind that they have provided my husband and I with is irreplaceable, and we could never thank them enough. Swim Gym is by far the best place to take your child to learn to swim...I couldn't recommend them enough!! Thanks Anita!!!
