  Nature preserve, people should read and obey the rules of a County park. More and more people are taking their dogs out there. It’s against the park rules. No domestic animals. It’s to protect the wildlife. Where are the workers. I have been on the trails numerous times in the last year and Dogs with no leashes. Visitors should be able to feel safe, that is not safe to me. ????????????????????????????please protect your parks.

  Took my granddaughters this week and I was impressed. Parking was close, tables in the shade as well as pavilions and grills. Playground in the shade. Outdoor showers that actually worked and the cleanest bathrooms and changing rooms. No rocks just sandy bottom lake with no big drop off. Water was warm and pretty clear.

  Nice county park with two swimming areas. Nice boat ramp but it gets crowded on weekends (and most weekend boaters are clueless). Mornings way better than afternoons on weekends. Weekdays no problem. Ms Barker house restoration in progress. I think they have limited tours but you have to call ahead for those.

  Our church family visits here whenever we have a baptism. Nice park with plenty of shade. Nice picnic area which was clean and had public restrooms. Handicapped parking available.

  We love it here. Great family place. Two beach areas on the lake always clean. The playground is wonderful. And staff is pleasant. The trail is a lot longer then it looks and hard walk do to the soft sugar sand, but there is a short cut half way through.
