Silver Springs State Park Campground

Quite a cool place to camp and use as a base for hiking. Cell service is spotty at best. Amenities are clean. We will be going back before our gets too hot.
If going with dogs, please make sure they’re on tick medication, as they are present EVERYWHERE! Spray yourself before hiking too. Didn’t notice any in the actual campground though.

A Florida classic. Large campground with nice sites. It’s a quick drive over to the spring. Glass bottom boats are a fun way to see the river. The five mile paddle to the end of the Silver River was an easy morning paddle.

The best cabins (cabin #10) we've ever stayed in and we do a lot of camping! Lots of space, fireplace, clean sheets, just bring the necessities! The park has a lot of trails and lots to explore! Best place to kayak hands down! Quiet at night. Clean. Not a negative thing to say. See pictures.

Loved it, it was beautiful. Colorful flowers for the landscape. Fresh crystal clear water you can see the bottom of the springs. Shopping, ice cream and food. Nice rocking chairs under the gazebos, picnic tables. Great place.????

So peaceful n we will make it a tradition to come here. We really loved the cabins, well worth the money!!! We heard monkeys, but didn't see any. The turtles are the only animals we really saw. We are going to the museum today.
