  Very nice small campground at a lock on the St Lucie Canal. Run by the Corps of Engineers and staffed by volunteers it's a pleasant and inexpensive way to camp. About 10 miles from Atantic Ocean beaches. 9 RV sites with electric and water, a dump station and showers. $30/night for RVs ($15 with a senior or other interagency pass) There are several very nice tent sites along the water too.

  Directly on the water. Nice trails. Fantastic value with Sr. Pass. Only 9 spots!

  Really enjoyed this campsite. Peaceful, relaxing. 50 and 30 amp hookups. You can also cross the locks and go on the hiking trails.

  Great place to go camping. Not a big area but is very comfortable camping on the water. Staff very friendly. Has tent camping on the water upto large RV spots.

  We stayed on a boat for 10 days. in one of the 8 slips. There are 8 campsites. Very peaceful setting located on the West side of the St Lucie Lock & Dam which is run by the Corp of Engineers. Volunteers run the Visitors Center & Gate area. Facility is older but clean. Several trails to explore the area. Nice tour of the Lock & Dam is given on Saturdays. Fun to watch various size boats travel through the Lock.
  The city of Stuart is about 12 miles away. Uber does come here. Enterprise Car Rental is also available. Stuart has a very fun downtown area with shops & restaurants. We visited Downtown Stuart on a Sunday afternoon while a Farmers’s Market and live music were occurring.
