I adore this beach, lately I have found a lot less seaweed here than in Crandon Park, I enjoy the lighthouse, the bike rentals, you can see the old houses on Stilts city that most people don't know about & the Cafe is pretty nice. Better to be enjoyed during the week if you wanna avoid crowds as if anywhere in Miami 😀
This Place is Absolutely Beautiful. The Park Staff is super friendly and the entire experience is breathtaking. If you are looking to connect with nature, enjoy family time and put in your 10,000 steps for the day, this is the place. The nature trails are a great way to do all this, plus the park has tons of outdoor grills, lots of parking, clean bathrooms, lovely views, two great restaurants: The Lighthouse Cafe and Boaters Grill at the No Name Harbour. This is my most favorite park plus the drive to get there is scenic and you get the inspirational and good feeling every time you go there! Exceptional place to spend your day!
Great place to visit. $8 entry fee per vehicle. The lighthouse has its own hours, so access was closed when we arrived after 4 pm. But we managed to get a good view from the beach. Lots of parking & picnic shelters. Beach was nice. Best part was walking the beach wall at the end of the island. We saw many fishes through the clear water, even saw an eel, nerf shark, bunch of parrotfish, others.
Truly beautiful park Great Beach awesome lighthouse with a neat tour. If you're afraid of heights do not climb to the top of this lighthouse because once you get up top you can go outside and there is a very thin tiny walkway not for the faint of heart but super fun! If you're in Miami you need to take a stop at this place and spend a few hours!
This beach park is very peaceful, away from all the hustle and bustles of the South Beach and Miami downtown. There is a beautiful lighthouse with some history attached to hit. The Sandy area of the beach is small. The water here is very clear. It wasn't crowded when we were here in the end of November.
