South Dade Nursing And Rehab Center

I requested for my mom to be transferred here after a horrible experience at a previous rehab. Due to Covid, we cannot actually go inside and visit her but I could tell that she was being taken care of. Every time I went to visit her, the ladies would bring her outside to visit with me and they all were very sweet.
Yvonne, the coordinator is wonderful, very caring and accommodating! Every time I would leave a message she returned my call immediately. She is extremely professional and cordial. She answered all of my questions and just made me feel at ease. When I would call the facility, someone would always answer the phone and transfer me to someone who could help me. They also allowed me to communicate with my mother. The PT, OT and nurses are top notch, very caring and nurturing. Ann Burr, the social worker was very efficient with all the paperwork and explained everything to me with great detail. Although I couldn’t see what was going on behind closed doors, I can definitely attest to the superior professionalism and kindness of everyone I dealt with. You truly are heroes and I appreciate your help and guidance and for treating my mother as you would yours.

Great facility, caring and knowledgeable staff. If your family is in need of nursing care, this is the place to bring them.

I want to be transparent and honest, this nursing home is older and may need a bit of elbow grease but it is full of so much love. My dad spent his last few weeks of life here, our family was by his side every day, many times unknowing to the nurses. We were able to watch them care for him and the other patients who stayed and lived there. They loved their patients genuinely and with all their might.
