Great place to visit, get great buys on many items. They have the biggest stock of souvenirs and tee shirts in the area. Plus there is an Indian village that shows the life style tears ago. Friendly, helpful staff on hand. Across the road is a place you can take an air boat ride to a village in the swamp area. This is worth seeing. Don't miss either one if you're in the area.

Fun gator wrestling show, and interesting displays of crafts and Indian life. Spend a couple hours. Their story of hiding from the Feds and outwitting them , plus the commitment to preserving traditional ways is fascinating story.

Nice place for kids & families who want to have a first encounter with the Everglades, its animals, history and Tribes. Gator wrestlers are fun and the museum well organized and interesting. They have internal pond looking pools where you can have a very close (but safe) encounter with gators of any size and tortoises. There's also an annexed trail for a short hiking experience and small stations where natives teach you how they have been living in this wonderful area for centuries (clothes, cuisine, traditions, etc.). There's also an airboat tour on the other side of the road that they offer with a combo (and fairly priced) ticket.

It's halfway between Alligator Alley miamitrail this is not the casino don't get it twisted parking is pretty easy just walk over the pedestrian bridge the alligator symbol with the lumberjack the museum itself at $15 if your law enforcement or military or senior you only $12 per person they give you a green wristband some places have arts and crafts some 5-minute video clips they do the alligator show and they have you take your own pictures with a baby alligator you can hold don't worry they'll tape up the baby alligators mouth something to remind for folks make sure you leave your weapons in the glove box since is federal territory they have strict laws about carrying concealed weapon just be aware of that and they have this is your speed warning signs all over the place just be mindful and have a great time
