  Great place and wonderful views. Everything is in walking distance. Night life is to die for. Beach is directly in front of hotel. I have stayed here many times and the rooms have been painted along with updated TV. You need to realize this is 60 years old and is not your standard holiday Inn hotel. For the location and price and view. It's a great bargain.

  Good hotel. Location is perfect, right in front of the beach.
  The fares are cheap so don't expect to get a room as in a luxury hotel. The phonic isolation is poor though. My neighbor was playing music in his room and I could dance on Latino rhythms in my room thanks to that.
  The staff is friendly and smiling. I would come back for vacations.

  It's a 2 stars hotel ! . . . Meaning that is only good for a shower, a place to put your luggage, a sound sleep and get overpriced alcohol with a view. Perfect for the occasional traveler who only wish to be close to the beach. Wouldn't recommend this for kids, pets or elder people. Rooms are small, sometimes hot and wifi is spotty. If you are planning to spend time in the hotel, this is not the place. . .

My experience with the Starlite Hotel was ok, not great. The Hotel is historic so it's neat to have stayed in one of the Art Deco buildings off Ocean Drive. The room was very cheap.
