This review is in regards to group events
Lauren was wonderful enough to help me get 15 people in kayaks for a large group treasure hunt on a busy saturday midday in the summer. When we arrived, it was pandemonium in the big hut (FYI, it get's super busy on saturday mid day when everyone and their mother is trying to rent something)
Luckily, Everything was already set for all of us! The Kayaks had been laid out and we'd been sent the link for the release form early.
It was super smooth and SUCH a fun day on the water. The whole team was great from the beginning communication all the way through being pushed off the little bank into the water.
If you plan on bringing a group to Oleta, i strongly recommend reaching out in advance!
What a lovely experience. We went for kayaking and it was great. The whole experience was very friendly and memorable.
Best place in Miami area for rentals and tours of Bikes, Kayaks, Canoes and Paddleboards. Amazing gift shop and staff are always positive and high energy. They’re even opening up the Historic Blue Marlin Fish House Restaurant soon!
A friend and I rented mountain bikes from here. The rate was very reasonable ($25/1.5 hrs + $5 each additional half hour) and the bikes were in good condition. The rental process was smooth and easy. I would have liked it they gave you a trail map and some tips. (We got there around 845 on a gorgeous day. When we got back around 1030, all bikes were out so if you want to go, get there early!)
They rent kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes. We took a class/tour on paddle boards and it was amazing. Our guide, Lauren, was awesome. She knew so much about the park and wildlife. She was extremely knowledgeable about paddle boarding and patiently got us from barely kneeling on the board to standing up in one lesson.
Highly recommend taking the 90 minute lesson before heading out on your own. There's a nice beach and sand bar. Plenty of space to row around. Parking is $5 and the center has lockers and a shop for items that you may have forgotten.
