(September 5, 2020, 5:08 am)Wow, never realized how close Lake Temescal is! Not as much hiking as I expected but great place to relax, picnic, walk, hang at a lake other than Lake Merritt. Definitely planning on going back, even biking there! Maybe fishing sometime too :).

I love this park.
Perfect for a picnic or a mellow bike ride.
Very spacious with beautiful trees to sit under and watch the animals.
Never a crowd.

I met with volunteers of the park to learn more about it and the events there and they hold weekly events like yoga and meditation.
